What counts as a "deep research" appraisal?

A standard appraisal pulls from our core sources — eBay sold listings, PriceCharting, and live metal spot prices. Deep research adds more market signals, cross-references more sources, and takes a bit longer. Realistically, most everyday items don't need it. You'll know when something does.

What happens after the 10 free appraisals?

You get a simple prompt to pick a plan. No auto-charges, no card on file, nothing. If you don't sign up, your account just stops working until you do. We won't email you three times about it.

Do I need to migrate my existing POS or software?

No. PawnScan runs on your phone, alongside whatever you already use. Your employees log in, run the appraisal, and keep going. Nothing in your existing setup changes — not one thing.

What happens when I hit my appraisal limit on Starter?

You don't get hard-stopped. You can still run appraisals beyond the 100/month — they bill as overages at month end. On Pro and Shop, appraisals are unlimited. Deep research overages are $0.50 each on all plans.

Can I add staff accounts later?

Yes. Starter is one account, Pro is three, Shop is unlimited. You can upgrade any time and the change takes effect immediately — no waiting on a billing cycle.

Is my appraisal data private?

Yes. Your appraisals are yours. We don't share what you're appraising or what you're offering with other shops, ever. Anonymized aggregate data may inform model improvements down the road, but never in a way that touches your specific items or numbers.
